ok, this may be the most photo-heavy blog posts i’ve ever done, but this shoot will likely go down in history as one of my most favorite ever! ella’s family are good clients of mine who really trust in my vision for all the shoots we do. i had come up with an idea to do a woodland themed newborn shoot and was waiting for the perfect opportunity to bring it to life. luckily, little ella’s parents were game! we did so many different set-ups and were done in no time flat!
it was also an amazing session, with so much meaning. the cream color shawl that ella is laying on in the carriage is her late maternal grandmothers. the feather piece on her head was her mother’s head-piece at her wedding. and there was another photo (not shown here) of her with her late maternal grandmothers’ cross necklace. (and i still die every time i see daddy’s pink striped socks in honor of his newborn baby girl.) enjoy!
